1. Smoking Ban

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the exhibition hall, especially at the stands. Please use the designated smoking areas outside the building.

2. Music and Audio Playback

Playing music or other audio content subject to GEMA licensing is not permitted at the stands. If you wish to use music, you must ensure that it is GEMA-free or that you can provide proof of a valid license.

3. Right of Withdrawal

Tattoo artists who register to participate in the tattoo exhibition have the right to revoke their registration within 5 days of registration without giving reasons. The withdrawal period is 5 days from the day of registration.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform the organizer by means of a clear declaration (e.g. by e-mail or in writing by post) of your decision to revoke the registration. In order to safeguard the period, the timely sending of the revocation before the expiry of the revocation period is sufficient.

Consequences of withdrawal

In the event of an effective revocation, the participation fee, if already paid, will be fully refunded within 14 days of receipt of the revocation declaration. Repayment will be made by the same means of payment used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

After the 5-day period, revocation of the registration is excluded. In this case, the registration remains binding and the participation fee is due in full.

4. Prohibition of Kitchen Appliances and High-Power Devices

For safety reasons, the use of kitchen appliances and any devices that create a high electrical load is prohibited. This includes, among others, water boilers, coffee machines, microwaves, and other electrical appliances that exceed standard usage.

5. Prohibition of combustible materials

It is strictly forbidden to use or store fire or combustible materials at the stand. This includes open flames, candles, fireworks, and easily flammable decorative materials.

6. Food ban at the stand

Eating food at the stand is not permitted. Please use the designated dining areas to consume your meals.

7. Compliance with general safety rules

All exhibitors are required to comply with the general safety regulations of the fair and ensure that their stands meet all applicable requirements. This applies in particular to escape routes, fire protection, and the handling of electrical systems.

8. Penalties for infringements

In the event of violations of these house rules, the organizer reserves the right to impose appropriate sanctions. These may range from a verbal warning to exclusion from the expo and/or a fine.

9. Cooperation of visitors, escorts and guests

Visitors, accompanying persons, and guests of exhibitors are not permitted to perform work for exhibitors at the fair. The use of individuals who are not registered as official staff is prohibited and may result in a fine of up to €10,000.

10. Fire safety

In the event of a fire, all materials used must not support combustion; all substances must therefore comply with the B1 standard. If this is not the case, materials must be treated with fire-retardant spray (available online or at specialized stores). Please also observe the general house rules of Emslandhallen, which can be found on the Emslandhallen website under the GTC.

Premature dismantling of the stand or leaving the event early is not permitted. Each exhibitor undertakes to keep their stand open for the entire duration of the event. Infringements may be penalized with a fine of up to €10,000.
